The Exhibition shows how young people in Sweden look upon their lives. The project aims to be an injection of the young and modern Sweden of today. How is growing up in Sweden? What do Swedish young people dream about? What are their plans for the future?

MI SUECIA ARE BASED ON
The Photo Book about Sweden & This Must Be The Place.
SHORT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT:

  • A selection of photos from the two projects This Must Be The Place and The Photo Book About Sweden.
  • Built upon the notion that Sweden is much more than ABBA and Ingmar Bergman!
  • Made in co-op with the Swedish Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
    • THE EXHIBITION CONSISTS OF:

  • 35 photos by 25 young Swedish photographers.
  • Short Movie (30 min) Kiss Bill by the Swedish directors Ina Holmqvist and Emelie Wallgren. The movie was nominated for Best Documentary 2010 by the Swedish Film Institute.

  • Buenos Aires, Argentina., Nov 17 2010 – Jan 31, 2011. Centro Cultural Recoleta, One of the biggest art galleries.
  • Oberá, Argentina., April 4-15, 2011.
  • Montevideo, Uruguay. Upcoming 2011.
  • Our plan is that Mi Suecia continue to travel around South America.
