Summer is one of the happiest periods for me and my friends. In Georgia it's inescapably short. We allow ourselves to be who we are, to be children despite our age and nationality.

Destination: Ushguli - Tbilisi, Distance: 542 Km, Duration: 12h, Temperature: 45°, After autostop i`ve discovered myself in a minibus boot with a group of strangers. The way was tiresome, but the aim justifies the means - I was trying to pass ahead my girlfriends departure.

Citizen Photojournalism Project. 34 Young Georgians tell stories about everyday life in Georgia, with photo and text. Instead of letting journalists depict young people and their lives. We created a space where young people could take back their right to interpret their own reality. Depicting themselves and putting emphasis on the things that they felt was interesting or important.
SHORT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT:
1400 pictures were sent in to the project.
41 pictures from 34 young photographers were selected.
News about the project has been covered by most big media channels in Georgia including six news reports by the big TV-channels.
November 2010, Exhibition at the Rustaveli Theatre which is the biggest theatre in Tbilisi. 4% of the submitted pictures were shown.
Over 400 people attended the opening.
At least one exhibition is planned and the exhibition will be shown in Stockholm, Sweden 2011.
